Winners of the recent Photo Contest by Supreme Council were announced with our own Brother Pat Brooks, 32° KCCH and his son Walker (age 7) both winning prizes. Brother Pat won 1st Place in the Masonic Things Division with his depiction of “Roll Call.” Walker won 2nd Place in the Youth Division with his photo of “Savannah Entrance.” Photos may be viewed in detail by clicking on 2011 Photo Gallery.

The Henry Woeltjen 32° KCCH Memorial Class Ring Ceremony was held on July 5, 2011. A large number of members, non-members and guests turned out to enjoy a great evening as the new Scottish Rite 32° Masons received their rings, patents and caps.  After a fabulous dinner the program was moved to the Lodge Room and all enjoyed a wonderful evening that was educational, informative and entertaining.   On Saturday June 25 we gather at the ball park (Grayson Stadium) to enjoy a picnic and game to follow with the Savannah Sand Gnats vs the Augusta Green Jackets. The picnic wil begin at 5:00 pm and last until 6:30pm consisting of hamburgers and hotdogs. Game to commence at 6:30pm. Come on out and be a part of tradition and also have a good time with Scottish Rite Brothers and Families and Friends.. Cost is $20 adult, $16 child. ( A real bargain!) Sign up with the Secretary quickly as he has a limited number of tickets available. 912-232-5132.

  UPDATED 6/17/2011  The Annual Flag Day Celebration was held June 14 at 7:30 pm on the 4th floor of the Scottish Rite Center. This year's event was quite different from previous events and certainly proved very exciting and interesting for all. By having the ceremony indoors we enjoyed a comfortable setting and the program was truly outstanding and completely patriotic. We honored the Military Order of the Purple Heart and several members of that organization were in attendance to share with us the purpose and functions of that great Order. We had Hunter Chapter No. 502 National Sojourners and Georgia Hussars Camp, Heroes of '76 as color guard(s) along with patriotic music plus a video program from Supreme Council about our Flag.Dignitaries introduced were Mr. Pete Liakakis, Chairman of County County Commissioners and Rochelle Small-Toney, City Manager of Savannah. Refreshments were provided...
